Wow ... what a great morning! For those who missed The Great Escape this morning it was a super morning. In addition to the great pancakes and superb coffee we had the All Whites FIFA World Cup games on the big screen. We also had a live band from Kilbirnie Salvation Army playing mellow tunes for us all. But the best part? The thing that the kids & the parents enjoyed the most? ...
Our indoor football contest! Teams of 2 and 3 participated in the contest from age 18 months to 60+ years! Dad's & Mum's teamed up with their kids or kids got into pairs and we played a full round before heading into the sudden death. Almost everyone at the cafe came to watch the grand final that saw Dad & son versus Dad & daughter.
This Sunday coming we're getting together again to talk about success. The All Whites have inspired us all and caused us to think about what the definition of success should be. Starting @10 there will be coffee & cake followed by an open discussion about success.
